Roope Eronen (b. 1982) is a Finnish comic artist and musician. His cartoons are characterized by experimentalism, naivety, anarchism and absurd humor. Eronen is a skilled creator of worlds and characters. In his works, experimental narration and absurd settings shed light on and question e.g. social legalities, changing humanity and morality.
Eronen started publishing comics as a child, and has continued all his life actively drawing and publishing them. Erosen’s works have been published especially in Finland and France, but also in Norway, England, Latvia, Belgium and Italy.
