Siiri Viljakka is a comic artist currently working on multiple graphic novels, comics, and interdisciplinary art projects. She mostly draws and paints on paper. While genres and themes often vary wildly in their work, the representations of queerness, transitions and different gender expressions are always represented in her drawings. Viljakka has found themselves gravitating towards the intersections in different mediums and unexpected collaborations. Viljakka was born in Varkaus and currently lives and works in Turku, Finland.
