Tiitu Takalo is a Finnish artist originating from Tampere. Since 1999 she has self-published numerous zines, and her comics have featured in various small-press publications and anthologies. Tiitu Takalo has nine published graphic novels to date, some of which have been translated from Finnish into other languages such as English, French, Hungarian, Polish, Spanish and Swedish. In addition to the graphic novels, Takalo’s comics have been translated into Russian, French, Polish, Dutch, Portuguese and English. Takalo lives in the Annikki co-housing community in Tampere with her spouse Mikko.
