Hannele is fully immersed in comics, as she draws, teaches, and translates them. Hannele draws with scratchboard and ink, but also works with sculpture installations and animation. She is interested in an atmosphere of unexplained eeriness and circular, layered storytelling. These are often accompanied by comic or tragicomic features.
