Hanneriina Moisseinen is a graphic novel artist with an artistic background in fine arts. Her artworks have been shown in exhibitions in art galleries and museums in about twenty countries. She has published five graphic novel albums that have been translated to several languages, directed three animation films and worked on other projects in the field of visual arts. Her special interest is to explore the possibilities of graphic novels in art exhibitions, as well as the spatiality of comics. Currently she is studying in the doctoral programme in the Academy of Fine Arts at Uniarts Helsinki.
